Microsoft Dynamics ERP Product Positioning

The on-going debate of “Which Microsoft Dynamics ERP solution should I look at?” is fuelled by ex-Microsoft product manager Steve Farr’s recent blog. Once again the answer is that customers will have to thoroughly evaluate and not rely on manufacturers or sales people to provide. Shortlisted Microsoft Dynamics NAV, what next?

So you’ve decided that you need to replace your existing systems. Why should you shortlist Microsoft Dynamics NAV? What else should you look at? Useful if you’re keen to understand how Microsoft Dynamics is licensed and if you are an existing user on the MBL model wondering if you should transition to BRL.

Navision v Microsoft Dynamics NAV

Five plus years since Microsoft changed the name of Navision to Microsoft Dynamics NAV and still it seems people prefer to call it Navision. Not that I really mind, it’s still great software, either for full ERP or as a finance management solution, just makes for marketing frustration!
