The Wine System is an ERP software solution based on Microsoft Dynamics NAV designed for wine and drinks distributors. Surrey based, TVision Technology is a Microsoft Gold ERP partner serving clients throughout the UK.

UK wine distributor Hallgarten Druitt has selected Microsoft Gold ERP partner TVision Technology to implement The Wine System, a software solution designed to meet the challenges and requirements of the wine and drinks distribution industry and based on Microsoft Dynamics NAV. The solution will be implemented at the company’s head office in Luton, as well as at their sister company Baum, based in Denver, USA.

The selection of TVision Technology was partly influenced by the fact that the Hallgarten Druitt project team had already worked with TVision to implement Microsoft Dynamics in another part of the company.

“TVision were well proven both for their credentials with other wine distributors and through the work we had already carried out with them,” said Kevin McKenna of Hallgarten Druitt. “Hallgarten Druitt/Baum’s project makes more use of the standard Wine System functionality, giving us a scalable solution with the backing of Microsoft and the functional fit we need.”

Hallgarten Druitt and Baum are involved in wholesale distribution to on and off trade and their sales process is aligned to that of other TVision Wine System customers such as Enotria and Mentzendorff.

The Wine System on Microsoft Dynamics NAV is fast becoming the established product for wine merchants involved in distribution to on and off trade. The implementation at the three companies in the group demonstrates the suitability of Microsoft Dynamics NAV as a standard Wine System, the basis for bespoke projects and a solution for international roll out.

“We are very pleased to gain Hallgarten Druitt/Baum as a TVision client,” said Richard Thompson, MD, of TVision Technology Ltd. “It confirms the fit of The Wine System, both strategically and in terms of functionality. It also reflects well on our level of Customer Service to be selected for a second project by the same company.”

The systems are due to go live at Baum in the USA, closely followed by Hallgarten Druitt in the UK in the second quarter of 2013.
