Last week at the TVision Technology annual client event we were very pleased to present Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2015 in all its tablet glory!
Each year we invite clients and partners to gather for three key objectives:

1. Updates on NAV, Microsoft and TVision
2. Networking in person!
3. Thanking our clients for their continued business

Over the years we’ve probably put too much emphasis on the first point; this year it felt that we had the balance exactly right. Clients enjoyed a 60 minute presentation of NAV 2015 that enabled them to decide whether to arrange a one-to-one follow up meeting where we can focus on how NAV 2015 would benefit their individual organisations. Tablet devices with the NAV 2015 tablet client were passed around the room throughout the event (the promise of a demo log-in for use on own devices ensured they were returned). Second in the wow factor features was the ability to format documents in Word. The feedback was tremendous and furthers my own perplexion as to why the usability survey was only 92% in favour (easily 93% now we can add our client reviews!).

My favourite part of the day was the chance to catch up with clients. In my sales role often I have had little contact with clients once they have passed on to the operations team and for our support staff, often clients are known via phone and email. The opportunity to chat without a formal agenda also gives another perspective.

The thank you part of the event hospitality was supper and racing. The supper was interesting, I had not experienced “build your own” pies before (as flexible as NAV . . . ?!). The racing was disastrous for me, better for those who know one end of a horse from the other!
Even the atrocious weather could not dampen a great event (it did try its best). Big thank you for everyone who joined us, Kempton Park for their hospitality and our Steph for organising.
