It’s official: Microsoft Dynamics NAV with the Wine System

We’re ending 2015 on a high, having achieved Certified for Microsoft Dynamics for our Wine System. The Wine System extends standard Microsoft Dynamics NAV functionality to meet the needs of wine merchants.

Certified for Microsoft Dynamics (CfMD) is no soft option. Only 19 UK Microsoft ERP partners have successfully gained certification despite the very many extensions developed for NAV. NAV resides in its own development environment and the product and partner channel are designed to support further development. Sometimes that development is discrete to an individual client’s needs; often it becomes an industry specific version that is then promoted as a vertical solution.

At TVision we have two vertical solutions for Dynamics NAV, The Wine System and Agency Time. Two years ago we decided that we should gain CfMD and decided on the Wine System as the first of our vertical Solutions to undertake the process. There are six elements to certification, the toughest is solution testing. The development has to meet Microsoft’s stringent guidelines and patterns and be thoroughly documented. It also has to be validated by client testimonies.

The Wine System has been constantly evolving since our first live site, Enotria Winecellars in 2002. The industry has variations within; from those merchants that operate as agencies through to those who work with private fine wine collectors. Consequently the Wine System has grown to meet all aspects, from HMRC approved bonded warehouse, to ex-cellar, to broking, to en primeur and all in between. We are currently implementing for Mangrove and Barwell & Jones who will be live on Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2016 with the Wine System in the New Year.

To celebrate further we will be holding an event in spring 2016, to register interest or to learn more now, please contact Stephanie Dean.
