Day two is always my favourite day. Maybe it’s because there is no setting up or taking down of stands; mostly it’s because the awards and parties happen on day two. This year we were really pleased that so many of users of Dynamics NAV were present and recognised.
The Drinks Business awards lunch is always a popular event. Now in its 14th year, the 2016 awards was attended by over a hundred industry professionals. Categories range from Best Social Media campaign to On Trade Supplier of the Year. TVision Wine System clients featured on the winners list. Enotria & Coe, our “oldest” client, won Drinks Event of the Year and MD Troy Christensen was honoured with Man of the Year. Liberty Wines experienced déjà vu by repeating last year’s success with the award for On-Trade Supplier of the Year and runner-up for UK Drinks Company of the Year. Goedhuis Wines were also runner up for the Fine Wine Retailer award. These three are a great representation of the diversity of our clients within the trade.
The evening was all about another trade magazine, Off Licence News who held a Star Wars themed party at the Science Museum (well it was May 4th . . . although we thought that was more of a techie geek thing!). The event was sponsored by Off-Licence News, Origins Wine and Pinkster Gin and attended by 200 guests, including our Steph who still amazingly made it to stand J32 for opening of the last day of the show.
