Bevica launch

It’s the morning after the night before and I have now had time to recover from the planning, build up and manning of my first event – yesterday’s Bevica launch. We were fortunate enough to book the beautiful Vintners’ Hall venue in London. If you’ve never been there, it’s a building steeped in wine industry history and therefore absolutely perfect for the Bevica launch.

We were hosting the event to launch the newly branded solution Bevica formerly known as The Wine System. This has been a successful offering from TVision for the last 15 years. With a mix of Clients, Prospects and Partners the evening was full of people who sleep, breathe, and love the wine industry with a passion.

The evening started off with a sparkling drinks and delicious canapés reception. Our Sales & Marketing Director Cameron Davis then introduced the three speakers. They were tasked with talking about the wine industry, it’s opportunities and it’s challenges. Claudio Martell our Product Manager for Bevica kicked things off with a very personal talk about his experiences of the wine industry whilst explaining the benefits that Bevica can offer to those in the industry. I think the fact that he previously worked in a wine business is testament to why the benefits of Bevica resonate so well with our wine clients. He has had first-hand experience of exactly the same frustrations that I’m sure many in the industry have experienced also.

Paul Duncan from Creditsafe followed Claudio. He explained to the audience how using Creditsafe can allow your business to easily verify registered company data.  Christian Beer from Dynamicweb finished our speakers line up with an introduction to digital business and how Dynamicweb can help customers drive digital transformation within their organisation. We’re delighted to have had representatives at this Bevica launch from our partners who offer Dynamics NAV integration to our clients – thank you both. The final part of the speeches was a short walking historical tour of the venue from Robin Tolley the General Manager at Searceys. We even got special access to the generally locked Boardroom – the oldest boardroom currently in use in the City of London. We also learned more of the history behind the venue that was originally built in the 15th century.

After the speeches and tour had been given, it was then on to the networking part of the evening where all of the team, guests and partners were able to mingle. More drinks followed and eventually it was time to pack up our brand new banners, any remaining brochures and logo’d water bottles. My first event is over, and I know there are many more to come. Next up is the London Wine Fair at the end of May, and I’m already deep into the preparations.
