Name someone you admire, and why?
Christopher Lee. That man had an incredibly interesting life. He was a spy during WWII, a prolific actor, was fluent in many languages and sang heavy metal in his 90s (including a couple of heavy metal Christmas song albums).
What’s a typical day like for you?
I like to use my commute time to read a book, or maybe listen to some podcast on my way to work/home. After work, I will go training, or play some board games with friends, depending on the day. After that, I have some home cooked dinner and relax watching some series with my wife.
Do you have any skills or talents that most people don’t know about?
I am proficient in various martial arts. Judo black belt, Karate blue, and currently training kickboxing.
If you could be anywhere other than here, right this minute, where would you be?
Spending quality time with my family.

Flashback to when you were 10 years old. What do you want to be when you grow up?

An astronaut. The sheer size of the universe amazed me, I wanted to go explore it.
Finish this sentence. On Sunday mornings, you can usually find me… Weather permitting, I might be having breakfast somewhere by the river.
How do you want people to remember you?
A friendly guy who is always there when you need him.
What do you think are the best skills that you bring to your job?
I’m very efficient and go straight to the point.
Name three words that you describe you: Friendly, dependable, nice.
How do you think your colleagues would describe you?
Quiet, but always happy to help.
Name something surprising on your bucket list:
Learn to play piano.
Describe a personal goal that you want to accomplish in the next year?
Taking the kickboxing belt exams to see how far I can get. They’ve always clashed with me being away.
What publications do you regularly read?
I don’t read many magazines since I started noticing that I wasn’t reading anything I didn’t already know from dedicated internet communities. I might buy Tabletop Gaming magazine if there is any interesting promo that comes with it.
What are you happiest doing, when you’re not working?
Playing some nice board games with my friends.
What are some causes you care about?
Ever since I lost my sister to cancer, I’ve supported many cancer research charities and have been quite involved with close friends who’ve had to deal with it in their lives.
What do you do with friends in your spare time?
Usually meet to socialize and have lunch somewhere nice. We also often organize a day of lunch and board games.
What would be your personal motto?
We are all work in progress
