Jon Bain – Sales Director

Jon joined TVision as its Sales Director in early 2022. He comes from a background of international technology sales, mainly SaaS-based in recent years. His role at TVision involves driving annual revenue, maintaining levels of gross margin, improving sales processes, and building and managing the sales team and partner opportunities.


What’s a typical day like for you?
Generally up early, which comes naturally with having 3 children under 6. My typical workday includes networking and meeting new connections, speaking to prospects and existing clients to learn about their challenges and pain points, discussing solutions to improve their situations, and planning implementations of preferred strategies to improve business processes and employees’ work lives. Other role requirements see me reviewing internal business plans, delivery, and future growth. Assessing sales and business tools to help improve processes. My evenings are mainly spent catching up with my wife and spending time with our children over dinner and bedtimes.

Do you have any skills or talents that most people don’t know about?
I play the guitar and enjoy to sing but very rarely perform to others and also studied to be an actor.

If you could be anywhere other than here, right this minute, where would you be?
Somewhere tropical by a pool or on a sandy beach in the warm sunshine.

Recently had comments like Jon is great and do it like Jon, so I would say I get on very well with colleagues and they see value in the way I see and do things.

Name something surprising on your bucket list
I live by the sea, so not sure if it’s that surprising but I would like to own a boat.

Describe a personal goal that you want to accomplish in the next year?
Improve health, fitness and general wellbeing.

What are you happiest doing, when you’re not working?
Spending time with my family and friends and playing guitar

What do you do with friends in your spare time?
Generally socialise at each others houses, at the beach or out for dinner.
