TVision Technology is delighted to announce that they have been appointed as the new Business Central Support Partner for the Union Jack Club.

Union Jack Club is the famous Central London military membership club and accommodation exclusively for serving and veteran enlisted members of His Majesty’s Armed Forces. Founded in 1903, it currently has over 85,000 members from across all five of UK’s armed services.

Prior to their move to Business Central, the Union Jack Club had used Sage50. However, when the time came for a move to a more modern and scalable software solution, they found the cost of upgrading to another Sage solution was price-prohibitive.

Their initial move to Business Central was not a successful one. The original support partner did not have the team to support the Union Jack Club in its use of the system in the way they wanted. It was, therefore, decided they would give notice to their support partner and find a new one.

Following a recommendation from one of TVision’s existing customers, the Union Jack Club approached TVision. An initial advice session took place with one of the Support Team members and, as a result, it was decided the Union Jack Club would appoint TVision as their new support partner.

Zoe Nield, Union Jack Club’s Financial Controller, commented: “We were very keen to change Business Central Support Partner but didn’t want to make the move and then discover we had jumped out of the frying pan and into the fire. Therefore, we decided to “test” TVision with a problem we had been having with our partial VAT returns. I am very pleased they passed with flying colours, and we were very happy to appoint them as our new Support Partner.”

Union Jack Club are, thus far, very pleased with their move to TVision. Zoe Nield continues: “Moving our support partnership to TVision Technology has been really eye-opening. We now realise there were lots of things we thought we couldn’t do in Business Central that we now can. It turns out the issue we had was with the training we had received, not with the system itself.

“With TVision Technology, it is clear that there is a great deal of in-house product expertise. We have already learnt so much from them about Business Central and what it can do for our business. In addition, we have been very pleased with how quickly and efficiently our support tickets have been resolved.”
