Founded in 2010 by Managing Director Simon Larkin MW, Atlas Fine Wines provides a range of services to commercial and private clients from its central London base.
Having worked with Atlas since its inception, we have seen the challenges and priorities for the business change considerably over the last seven years. We initially implemented Bevica (then known as The Wine System) to provide Simon and his team with the core accounting,
financial and fine wine processing tools needed to not only get the business up and running, but operating with efficiency and insight. In a sector where market prices fluctuate constantly, with direct impacts on customers’ portfolio valuations, it is critical that business information is always up-to-date so informed decisions can be made quickly. Bevica has enabled Atlas’s team to do exactly that with powerful analytics capabilities and clear reporting.
As the business has grown, so have expectations of its software. Where lesser platforms might have hindered growth, the flexibility of Bevica, built on Microsoft Dynamics NAV, has enabled new functionality to be added wherever the need has arisen.
Initially focused on providing brokerage and stock management services for private reserves, the company has expanded to include advisory services to collector clients looking for impartial advice on expanding and valuing their collections.
