Liberty Wines has contracted Microsoft Gold partner TVision Technology to implement The Wine System, TVision’s enhanced version of Dynamics NAV that provides an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution specifically designed for the wine distribution industry.
The Wine System will address the operational and financial needs of Liberty Wines and offer the scope and scalability that Liberty Wines is looking for to meet their plans for future growth. It will replace two current packages with one fully integrated system.
TVision developed The Wine System to meet the specific issues faced by wine distributors and in particular the need for a software solution that could cope with customers and suppliers ranging from single individuals to multinationals. It has been in use with industry leaders for over a decade.

Aiming for go-live early in 2014, the new system is another step forward in the progression of Liberty Wines following its move to purpose built office, warehouse and tasting facilities earlier this year.
Liberty Wines was founded in 1997 by David Gleave MW with a team of four; today the company employs over 90 staff and distributes premium wines to the UK and Ireland from 16 countries around the world. The investment in Microsoft Dynamics NAV will provide the foundation to fulfil the strategic aims of the next phase of Liberty Wines’ growth.
