Our most popular white paper, “How much will my Microsoft Dynamics NAV implementation cost?” has been changed. I fear it will make it less popular but hope that it will make us more popular!

The white paper explains how a project budget for a NAV (Navision) implementation is constructed. It used to go further by providing some cost examples; particularly of the likely licence cost as this is the easiest to estimate (services are dependent on more unknowns such as the complexity of the project and the quality and quantity of internal resource available).

We are like to keep things transparent and have no problem providing early estimates; so why change it? It seemed that the most regular visitors were coming from big five consultancy firms looking for free advice. We are happy to help wherever we can; however, the aim was for prospective clients to assess whether NAV was the right product to evaluate and if so, to contact us. It grates to provide free advice to firms who will be charging their clients thousands of pounds for the information.

Sometimes it feels that we sell ourselves too cheaply. If you would like an estimate of the likely cost of a NAV solution for your organisation, or your client’s organisation, please contact us. You’ll get free advice that is more relevant to your specific needs and we’ll get to understand your project; two important steps to ascertaining if we can help you.
