Thisum Perera – Customer Support Consultant
Thisum has been working as a Functional Consultant in Navision and Business Central for the past four years and has implemented these ERP solutions for numerous companies.
His role in TVision’s busy Client Support team is to help clients use Bevica, Business Central and NAV more effectively.
Name someone you admire and why
I mostly admire my father because of seeing how hard he worked to achieve things in life to make his and the family to go well. His work ethic is second to none. He taught me to always be reliable, on time, and a person of my word.
What’s a typical day like for you?
On my average day of work, I start the day at 7 AM with a good refreshing cup of tea along by checking my emails. This way, I can reply to all the support requests and update my tickets and get everything organised at the start of the day.
I then look over my to-do list and get started on the projects that are my top priority.
Do you have any skills or talents that most people don’t know about?
I love cricket, and I have played cricket in my school times on the college cricket team and I will be playing cricket in my free time when I have a chance.
If you could be anywhere other than here, right this minute, where would you be?
I wish to be in Sri Lanka in a coastal area enjoying the sun

What publications do you regularly read?
I usually read Sherlock Holmes books. I have read almost all, and I would love to read them again and again.
What are you happiest doing, when you’re not working?
I love to watch films and TV series. And also learning a coding language from YouTube.
What do you do with friends in your spare time?
We would probably have some beer and then play cricket in our spare time as well as watch a movie.

When something is important enough, you do it even if the odds are in your favour.
