Microsoft announced that as of 20 May 2023, Business Central Premium licence holders will be able to add Dynamics 365 Sales Enterprise and Dynamics 365 Customer Service Enterprise attach licences for only £15.10 per user licence.
What do we mean by attach licences?
To license any core Dynamics 365 business application, such as Business Central, customers have to purchase subscriptions of either Base or Attach licences. The first licence purchased is the base licence. If users require functionality from additional core Dynamics 365 business applications, they can purchase Attach licences of a qualifying product at a discounted price of £15.10 per user licence.
For Business Central Premium licence holders, qualifying products for discounted attach licences are:
- Dynamics 365 Sales Enterprise
- Dynamics 365 Customer Service Enterprise

Attach licensing details
Only assigned user licences (not device licences or unassigned licences) can be bought as an attach licence. Tenant-based licences, additional access licensing, and capacity licensing do not qualify for attach licensing pricing – but they may be licensed separately.
