Wine Cru is the US a sister company of Hallgarten Druitt. Late in 2012 they began working with Microsoft Gold Partner, TVision Technology, on a project to standardise the group on the Wine System, TVision’s configuration of Microsoft Dynamics NAV developed for the drinks industry.
The Wine System is an ERP software solution based on Microsoft Dynamics NAV designed for wine and drinks distributors. Hallgarten Druitt, UK drinks distributor, chose TVision Technology to implement The Wine System at its UK head office in Luton and at its sister company in Denver, USA.
Hallgarten Druitt’s project team had worked with TVision to implement the Wine System at sister company, Pieroth. Impressed with both the product and TVision’s ability to successfully deliver, Hallgarten Druitt was confident of success for the main distribution business in the UK and the US.
“TVision were well proven both for their credentials with other wine distributors and through the work we had already carried out with them,” said Kevin McKenna of Hallgarten Druitt.
The US company, Wine Cru, set the pace, achieving go live on 1st July. “It was important to provide each group of users with undivided attention through the inevitable stress of going live,” Richard Thompson, MD TVision Technology Ltd. “Although I am sure the US users will enjoy the status of trail blazers!”
The larger UK company is set to follow, with main go live in the next few weeks followed soon after by the new website integration and business intelligence phases.
