The latest version of Microsoft Dynamics NAV has been unveiled at the Microsoft World Partner Conference (WPC) under the catch phrase ”More Mobile and More Cloud”.. Previously referred to as “Crete”, Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2015 is scheduled for release late 2014, more details and demos will be released to partners in the coming months.

As predicted by industry analysis, the big news for NAV 2015 is mobile device support. Previous version, Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 introduced the multi-browser web client. The new tablet interface for Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2015 promises a consistent App experience across Windows, IPad and Android.

“NAV is once again proving its global ERP platform capabilities,” Richard Thompson, MD TVision Technology Ltd. “The mobile device support builds on the strategy of providing solutions that users can access at their convenience.”

Other significant improvements with this release include much stronger and easier integration with Microsoft products such as O365 and Power BI, and an improved user “dashboard”…More information will be released to partners at the Directions EMEA event in October 2014.
