We’ve been keeping quiet about our new sister company, TVT Cloud. Call it jealousy, TVT Cloud won its first award for its first client. TVision Technology took two years to gain its first Microsoft excellence award!
TVT Cloud is being established to provide cloud services for Microsoft Dynamics NAV users looking to the cloud to host all or some of their infrastructure.
The cloud offers clients excellent flexibility and the opportunity to reduce IT overheads. Even where clients already own their own licences, choosing to host in the cloud reduces the load on internal IT services and frees the client from all responsibility for maintaining Dynamics NAV on their own servers.
For other clients, a full subscription route where Dynamics NAV is provided on a SaaS (software as a service) basis is the ideal choice for clients wanting total flexibility as well as minimizing their IT overheads.
We have always believed in focusing on what we do best, which is why we have always worked with Dynamics NAV to the exclusion of other products. Now, we are taking that same philosophy and establishing TVT Cloud which will specialize exclusively in ‘Dynamics NAV in the cloud’ solutions. TVT Cloud will always, of course, have the extensive experience of TVision Technology itself to draw on for implementations.
Dynamics NAV in the cloud is best suited to standard implementations and TVT Cloud will concentrate on getting new clients up and running quickly and efficiently and with minimum disruption to the running of the business.
And what of TVision Technology itself? We shall continue to focus on complex Dynamics NAV projects where a standard fit is not the best solution and the flexibility of NAV is the key driver.
We are planning the formal launch of TVT Cloud for 1st January 2015, so why this mention now? All back to that award and Microsoft letting the cat out of the bag – we provided a cloud solution for North South Wines. Being a startup, Dynamics NAV in the cloud was perfect as it provided a powerful solution without any investment in IT infrastructure. They received the Microsoft Customer Excellence Award for Technology Innovation: Small to Medium Business at the Microsoft User Conference in Barcelona in November.
