Microsoft announced today that the “included tables” on the Limited User licence for Dynamics NAV have been increased.

The Limited User is limited in respect of writing to the database (the tables); there has never been a “view” restriction imposed (not forgetting to mention the Permissions you may assign to a user, that’s purely down to your configuration). The restriction consists of three core tables they cannot ever write to, a list of “included tables” that they can and then three further tables of your choice.

The increase adds some twenty tables to the included list meaning that more of your users than ever before can take advantage of this user type. In addition, Microsoft has created a standard Role template for the Limited User.
