Name someone you admire, and why?
I don’t really admire any one person. People who achieve something – whether it’s exploration, arts, humanities or science people do some incredible things.

What’s a typical day like for you?
There’s no typical day which is part of the joys of this job! Helping customers, solving and thinking through problems and testing solutions.

Do you have any skills or talents that most people don’t know about?
I can bend my finger back to touch the back of my hand. Not that useful though except in childhood games of ‘mercy’.

If you could be anywhere other than here, right this minute, where would you be: Running through a forest!

Flashback to when you were 10 years old. What do you want to be when you grow up?
I think I wanted to be a computer games tester, or an astronaut.

Finish this sentence. On Sunday mornings, you can usually find me… Running or playing with my kids

How do you want people to remember you? Fondly

What do you think are the best skills that you bring to your job?
I can think through processes and come up with solutions. I have been on the customers side, and so can understand it from their point of view.

Name three words that describe you: Careful, collaborative, understanding

How do you think your colleagues would describe you? I’m hoping using the three words above!

Name something surprising on your bucket list: To be able to run 100 miles without stopping.

Describe a personal goal that you want to accomplish in the next year?
See above, let’s make that a few years though!

What publications do you regularly read?
I dabble in some recruitment and wine periodicals, and some technology stuff but nothing I subscribe to.

What are you happiest doing, when you’re not working?
Spending time with my family, then escaping for a run when I can.

What are some causes you care about?
The environment and nature – can’t we keep it nice for future generations rather than some bleak wasteland?

What do you do with friends in your spare time?
What is “spare time”? Read, run, play….

What would be your personal motto?
Measure twice, cut once (thanks Dad!)
