For those of you who currently use Continia, it’s time to upgrade. New features and benefits of upgrading are:

Document Capture and Expense version 5.00 and 3.00

Employee checking accounts
  • Faster first recognition of a document from a new vendor

  • Activation and deactivation is greatly improved including activation status and an easy-to-use activation wizard
  • Renaming of Continia users now possible, like changing the domain name
  • Better overview of setup pages
  • Direct link to key configuration pages makes it very easy to setup, modify and check settings and parameters
  • Additional language support for cloud OCR

Document Capture and Expense version 5.50 and 3.50

New in Continia Document Capture version 5.50:

  • From this version ABBYY Fine Reader version 12 has a range of OCR recognition improvements
  • Simplified and enhanced user interface and permission sets
  • All relevant bug fixes released in Service Pack 1 to 8 for DC5.00 and Service Pack 1 to 10 for DC4.50 are also included in DC5.50
  • With the release of Document Capture 5.50, upgrade objects can be used with the new Data Upgrade Tools from Microsoft

New in Continia Expense Management version 3.50:

  • Corporate Credit Cards with employee payment, instead of company payment, is now supported (i.e. used by some Eurocard agreements and American Express)
  • A credit card can now be shared between multiple users, by assigning the credit card to more users (i.e. used by Diners travel account, where one card is used for multiple employees)
  • Expenses can now also be handled with external payroll systems, just like mileage
  • All relevant bug fixes released in Service Pack 1 to 8 for EM3.00 and Service Pack 1 to 10 for EM2.60 are also included in EM3.50
  • With the release of Expense Management 3.50, upgrade objects can be used with the new Data Upgrade Tools from Microsoft

New in Continia Web Approval Portal:

  • Office 365 logins are now supported in the Continia Web Approval Portal. Both for the Continia cloud and on-premises versions
  • Mileage attachments can now also be added

Document Output version 2.22.01, this version contains a number of optimisations and improvements to existing functionalities:

  • You can now open the e-mail in NAV instead of Outlook. Here you can edit Recipients, Subject, and Attachments
  • Support for Pro Forma Invoice on Sales Invoices
  • Support for Job Quote on Job Card
  • Doc. Output now handles the custom layout on set on customers
  • Send test e-mail from SMTP Setup
  • Print PDF (The Background PDF and Merge PDF are included in the print)
  • New warehouse Fact Boxes
  • Save PDF button from all Fact boxes
  • Combine several documents (invoices) to one PDF per Bill-To Customer

This version contains a number of optimisations and improvements to existing functionalities:

  • New External program “CDO – Monitor” to create e-Mail log with web service. When used NAV will not be locked when opening mail in Outlook
  • New HTML editor in NAV/BC which means that you don’t need to have Outlook and Word installed
  • New Vendor Fact Box
  • Now fully functional with the web client
