Hitting a major milestone back in December, last month our 20 year anniversary celebrations culminated with a trip to London’s Gherkin for large scale, team revelry.
Taking in the incredible London skyline, some of our longest serving team members shared stories as we talked about what lies ahead for 2020 and beyond.
An evening not to be forgotten, we also wanted to make sure you didn’t forget our 20th year either, creating our very own gin with the expert help from our amazing client, Silent Pool Distillers.
Given the enviable task of choosing from three possible gins, including: Admiral Collingwood Navy Gin – Silent Pool’s Navy strength gin but at a lower 40% ABV. This gin is juniper driven, and has bright, citrusy notes of lemon and orange and finished with a hint of cardamom and a subtle dash of nutmeg. As well as their English Rose Gin, a floral and slightly perfumed gin, followed by their Winter Gin – flavoured with gingerbread, Tonka bean and mulling spices.
After a very important office tasting session to decide what would make the final cut and be sent out to you lovely lot. We settled with the classic Admiral Collingwood Navy Gin. Sophie at Silent Pool then set her brilliant team the task of distilling, bottling and labelling the TVT creation. TVT20 was born!
Delivering to you as a post-Christmas treat, here’s how some of you celebrated with us…
Roman Truszkowski at Enotria created an incredible cocktail for us called ‘20 20 Vision’, made as follows:
- 50ml – Gin
- 25ml – Triple sec
- 20ml – Lime juice
- Dash of Absinth
- Dash of Gomme syrup
We’ve had lots of fun replicating this (and it tastes amazing) – give it a go.
Steve Easton at Gold Key Media said, “I notice your genesis was on the eve of Y2K. Clearing that hurdle obviously provided a springboard for the years of success since!
Gold Key Media have really enjoyed being part of your history and having had the opportunity to personally work with your team last year as we upgraded from NAV to Business Central was a great pleasure. The fact that we delivered the system on time and on budget is great testament to TVision’s professionalism. Well done to you all.”
David Brown at Justerini & Brooks said, “…congratulations on 20 fantastic years. I am personally delighted that we will be working more closely with you all during the next few too!”
And we had we had this great pic from Alex Shannon at Watco of their fabulous IT developers Martin Bradley, Rui Ruivo and Alex himself.
Thank you all for your warm anniversary wishes and lovely messages. We have definitely felt the love. Here’s to another 20 years!
