Jack Hurley – Support Consultant
Jack is one of the team that works on the busy in-house Support Desk here at TVision, and joined in 2022.
Jack has been working with NAV and Business Central since 2019 and has worked with a number of different partners. Here at TVision, Jack’s role is to help resolve customer questions and queries to help them get back to working as quickly and effectively as possible.
Name someone you admire, and why?
I really admire Martin Garrix. He is a Dutch DJ and music producer who is a year younger than I am. I really love his music and have seen him perform at some of the many music festivals I have been to including Tomorrowland (Belgium), Amsterdam Music Festival and Ultra Miami.
Do you have any skills or talents that most people don’t know about?
After I left school, I did a Technical Theatre Apprenticeship at Southwark College and worked at the Almeida Theatre. As a result, I am a dab hand backstage at a theatre as well as with stage lighting and sound.
If you could be anywhere other than here, right this minute, where would you be?
Laying on a beach somewhere hot with a beer. I love Greece but also have ambitions to one day going to Italy, the Maldives and Australia.
Flashback to when you were 10 years old. What do you want to be when you grow up?
A teacher. I really admired my primary school teachers and wanted to be just like them.

How do you want people to remember you?
A loyal and good friend.
What do you think are the best skills that you bring to your job?
I am friendly and approachable. Since I joined the world of work, I have always worked in customer-facing roles. As a result, I have learned to deal with different kinds of customers, varying from theatre “luvvies” to corporate customers.

Loyal, Kind, and Hardworking.
How do you think your colleagues would describe you?
I have recently been informed by one of my colleagues that I am someone who is quiet but who shouldn’t be underestimated, even by myself!
Name something surprising on your bucket list
Up until a few years ago, I really wanted to see Swedish House Mafia. I was lucky enough to see them first in 2019 and then twice this year. As a result, my bucket list is empty. For now!
Describe a personal goal that you want to accomplish in the next year
On a professional level, I really want to redo my MB-800 qualification (the qualification for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultants).
What publications do you regularly read?
I really enjoy non-fiction books, rather than publications. I recently read Lily’s Promise by Lily Ebert and Dov Forman which details Lily’s experiences as an Auschwitz survivor.
What are you happiest doing, when you’re not working?
Planning trips and trips with either my friends or family.
