David Brown – Implementation Consultant
For 20 years David worked in the drinks industry for Justerini & Brooks/Diageo and held a number of positions across sales, events, operations, management, systems, and data. The notable highlight was the implementation of Bevica in 2020. David ensured the system and its enhancements exceeded a number of complex requirements and that the overall migration and go-live (during a pandemic) ran smoothly!
David moved to TVision in autumn 2022 and is looking forward to translating his in-depth trade and Bevica experience on the client side into insight, explanation, and successful implementations and enhancements for our existing and new TVision customers so they can unlock their most important business processes and deliver value, growth, and profitability.
Name someone you admire, and why?
I have 3 heroes; Johnny Cash (for never shying away from his deep rooted views and beliefs as well as being the most extraordinary musician), Eddie Izzard (for facing up to a seemingly impossible challenge, having the bravery to try let alone achieve it) and Buzz Lightyear (a reminder that even if you have flaws true character prevails).
Do you have any skills or talents that most people don’t know about?
I like trying to write ‘dad jokes’ for my kids…. I keep them in a dada-base! (Sorry I can’t take credit for that one but it makes me smile).
If you could be anywhere other than here, right this minute, where would you be?
Watching the Cleveland Browns win the Super Bowl, but that is never going to happen!
Flashback to when you were 10 years old. What do you want to be when you grow up?
Either a chef or a teacher… I qualified as one of those! If you ever get to try my cooking you’ll guess which!

What do you think are the best skills that you bring to your job?
I think I am good at listening to a need or requirement, probing that a little to ensure understanding and working that through into an improved approach or process. I enjoy collaborative working in groups and am good at keeping focussed on task.

Name something surprising on your bucket list
Once the kids have all grown up and flown the nest I would love to tour the US in a large camper van, nothing but the open road ahead of me and my wife Sarah beside me.
Describe a personal goal that you want to accomplish in the next year
There is some building work we would like to do on our house, getting that started in the next 12 months would feel like a big win!

Watching sport or listening to music (I have a very broad taste), live when possible!

I wish I had more of it! When I do an evening in the pub works pretty well.
