Dynamics On-Premises Service Plans (Enhancement Plan, Advantage Plan)
As Microsoft modernise the Dynamics on-premises business, they want to remove barriers which inhibit cloud adoption and migration, and to improve harmonisation of online and on-premises pricing, while maintaining customer choice of deployment topology.
Scope:
- Enhancement Plans (EP) and Advantage Plans (AP) for Dynamics on-premises products purchased through DPL
Excludes:
- Advantage Plus Plans (APP)
- SQL embedded support plans
- Software Assurance (SA) plans (purchased through EA)
Effective 3 October 2024, annual EP and AP rates will increase by 1 point for renewals and new sales. By way of example, the rate for a 1-year Enhancement Plan (EP) would go from 18% to 19% of Protected List Price (PLP), the rate for a 1-year Advantage Plan would go from 20% to 21% of PLP, and the rate for a 3-year Enhancement Plan (EP) would go from 54% to 57% of PLP.
Customers who order a two- or three-year plan (annual or upfront) retain their original percentage rate for the full term of the plan. The rate is determined by the date on which the EP quote (not order) is created. For example, a customer who orders a new three-year annual EP plan through a quote created on 1 September 2024, would receive the 18% rate for the full term of the plan. If the customer ordered the same plan through a quote created in October 2024, the rate would be 19% for the full term.
