What’s our secret? Well, there isn’t one. We just invest in highly-skilled, experienced support engineers who know Microsoft Dynamics NAV as well as anyone. Not only are they UK based, but they also sit shoulder to shoulder with the rest of the TVision team in our head office. If they need to pick the brains of the consultant who worked on the ERP implementation, they can do so over a coffee rather than over Skype with a five-hour time difference.

Specialist Support Team

TVision’s support desk is manned by Microsoft Dynamics specialists who are not only based in the UK, they’re sat right here in our head office along with the rest of the team. We invest a lot of time in ensuring that all the team understand the businesses of our clients, and the particular support needs they’re likely to have. As a result of that investment, the vast majority of support tickets, whether raised by email or phone, are resolved on first contact.

We manage our support by constantly monitoring response rates and tracking time-to-resolution through our own Dynamics NAV system (as you’d expect), but it’s not all about the statistics and KPIs – what really drives us is your satisfaction, and we’ll do whatever it takes to get your issue resolved.

Dedicated Account Management

As well as day-to-day support we also keep in regular contact with you via your dedicated Account manager. They can discuss ways to help you improve how you use Dynamics in order to make the most out of your investment. Whilst this can sometimes require upgrading your version of NAV, we can also offer a “spring clean” to revitalise your system.

Revitalise your Microsoft Dynamics instance

Whilst we recommend a NAV upgrade in order to take advantage of any new functionality, a health check could provide you with the short-term benefits of enhancing your system with the existing set-up of functionality you are not using, or with small development. You might discover a need for revitalising a particular process or department. For example, you might want to get more out of CRM, set up zones and bins for a more efficient warehouse operation, or improve your BI reporting. Most people would be surprised at what we can suggest for your current system with a fresh look and a tweak here or there. There are advantages to a Dynamics refresh in that the project can be very specific and concentrate on a particular business need. Also, less time and resource is required than moving to a brand new version. However, this is only a stop-gap solution.

Training Your Team

TVision provides a range of training options which we can tailor to your needs. All sessions are designed to enhance your understanding and knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics, so you get the most out of your system. Training topics

  • An Introduction to the system

This will include an overview for the various Role Centres you wish to apply to your teams. You will also get a thorough explanation of the navigation pane, address bar and ribbon to ensure you know your way around the system. We will show you how to use advanced filtering and search, export from pages, and how to use fact boxes, links and notes.

  • General Ledger

Learn more about General Ledger basics including the setting up your Chart of Accounts, dimensions, fiscal years and periods, and all about journals. We will also teach you about periodic processes and reporting such as VAT returns and year end as well as standard reports. Cash management is also an important part of the tool and so we can help you learn more about setting up your bank accounts, applying ledger entries, payment runs and bank reconciliation. We will also discuss fixed assets if required.

  • Sales and Purchase Ledger

We will also devote time to specifically to setting up your customers and vendors, understanding sales invoices and purchase orders as well as creating reports.

  • Tailored and more advanced training
