Name someone you admire, and why?
The musician Mike Oldfield. He took a big risk back in the ‘70s and created a new genre of music.
What’s a typical day like for you?
There is no typical day in account management or sales! Anything can happen. I’m either at the office having meetings with colleagues, out visiting clients, doing business development activities or attending events.
Do you have any skills or talents that most people don’t know about?
I have been playing the acoustic guitar since I was 10 years old but I’ve lapsed a bit in the last few years. I also love baking although that’s known by everyone in the office.
If you could be anywhere other than here, right this minute, where would you be.
In Dubai – I have a friend who lives there and I visited him last month. I felt very at home there and its about 30 degrees at the moment!
Flashback to when you were 10 years old. What do you want to be when you grow up?
I wanted to be a journalist. I’m always asking questions and I’m a good listener too so I suppose that’s why I got into Account Management.

How do you want people to remember you?
As a nice person who is always happy to listen and offer advice.
What do you think are the best skills that you bring to your job?
Being a good listener and looking out for key information which I can use to help the client get the most out of their investment.

How do you think your colleagues would describe you?
Direct and honest.
Name something surprising on your bucket list.
I’d love to go to Moscow – which is surprising as I don’t like the cold.
Describe a personal goal that you want to accomplish in the next year?
I want to complete my CIMA Business Accounting qualification.
What publications do you regularly read?
Recruitment International – a recruitment industry magazine.
What are you happiest doing, when you’re not working?
Baking, playing computer games and reading fantasy & science fiction novels.
What are some causes you care about?
I contribute towards the National Autistic Society, Great Ormond Street Hospital and NSPCC
What do you do with friends in your spare time?
Go out for meals, play card games and visit historic places. I also frequent the occasional beer festival.
What would be your personal motto?
Just be nice to everyone and the world will be a better place.
